Thank You Heros
Posted over 5 years ago by Dana Hampton
Respected Friends and Colleagues,
To say thank you is simply not enough to express the gratitude and honor that we feel. As nurses, you continue to face the day with your armor of dedication and commitment to healing others. You have been called to change the world we live in and your knowledge, caring influence and faith will guide your steps. In 2020, we need now more than ever to pull together our resources and continue to expand our depth. It is our responsibility as nurse specialists to lead our communities through this health crisis to a better tomorrow. It starts with us. As a community-based organization, we want you to share your experiences and knowledge. That is what drives us.
COVID-19 was unforeseen, and its impact was devastating, and results felt wide. Affecting our ability to convene as a group, we continue to postpone future live meetings until further notice from the local governing bodies.
We do want to continue to work toward our goals for 2020. Continuing to learn from the experts and each other we can accomplish what we set forth to do. We just need to creatively use our resources. More communication via the web is the best way we can do it at this time.
At our last meeting, we discussed the upcoming Board of Directors positions. As a follow-up, job openings with job duties responsibilities will be posted shortly for your review and consideration. Directions will be provided on how to nominate candidates and the voting process.
Wishing you continued health and safety to you and your families.
Best Regards,
Dana Hampton, Carrie Kohler, Dana Runde
